As of 2025, these professional services firms are leading global revenue generation. Combined, the top 10 firms brought in $315.04 billion USD in 2024, up from $310.97 billion USD in 2023. With an inflation rate of 2.7% for 2024, this 1.31% year-on-year growth has not been able to surpass inflation. In addition to this, half of the companies on this list made less revenue in 2024 than 2023.

This limited growth can be attributed to global economic pressures, which have led companies to tighten spending on consulting services. Additionally, many organizations are opting for smaller, boutique firms that offer targeted expertise.

For 2025, U.S. inflation is expected to stay around 2.0%, so firms will likely need to adjust their prices to keep up. At the same time, with unemployment predicted to rise to 4.4%, companies may cut back on hiring and lean on consultants to help manage their workloads.

This could make 2025 a promising year for professional services, as businesses look for outside expertise.

Double Your Revenue Growth With Effective Resource Planning

Building an efficient lead-to-close system will drive revenue, but if you can’t deliver the work efficiently and profitably, your firm isn’t actually growing; it’s just getting more busy.
